With its slender, grass-like leaves and spiky, yellow flowers, Silver Puffs can be seen dotting sunny slopes in the wild, but the main event with this local, monotypic annual in the Aster Family is the dramatically spiky-but-soft, oversize seed head that gives Uropappus lindleyi its fitting common name.
We sell Silver Puffs in 2″-cell six-packs for easy, spring planting with a minimum of disturbance. These affordable, 2″ cells also facilitate planting in groups to more effectively attract pollinators.
